Thank you so much for thinking of Matheson Wine Bar for your function. Dan, Anya and the team are so happy that you thought of us. We are super adaptable with our functions and endeavour to cater to everyone. That being said, we want every person who walks in our front door to have the perfect time, so if we feel that we are not the right venue for you, based on capacity, timing or the style of function, please don’t be offended if we’re like, Yeah, Nah!

Capacity wise, our indoor area caters to a maximum of 20. Add in the covered, heated courtyard and we can cater to 30. For the whole venue, including the weather-dependent footpath, we can cater to 40 patrons. Our minimum spend varies, depending on the time and day of the week.

We do not cater to functions after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We know this may seem odd, but we are a neighbourhood wine bar, and our locals and regulars are the reason we can still open our doors, so we never want them to be disappointed on those core evenings.

We have a canapé menu based on our seasonal share plate offering. Let us know your food requirements and I’m sure we can meet them. From sit-down lunches and dinners to grazing tables or roaming finger food events, we can cover all bases.
